Senior Attorney

Our client, a well-known law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Attorney specializing in Class Action and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) cases, with a strong emphasis on Wage & Hour litigation. As a Senior Attorney, you will play a key role in advancing our firm's reputation as a leader in employment law by representing clients in complex class action lawsuits and PAGA claims related to wage and hour violations.

This is a very flexible role in terms of hybrid time in the office and remote – ideally this person will be based in the Bay Area, LA, or Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage class action and PAGA cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Provide expert legal advice to plaintiffs on wage and hour issues.
• Conduct client interviews, depositions, and investigations as necessary.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and legal staff.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the state bar (ideally CA)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience practicing employment law with a focus on class action and wage & hour cases.
• Proven track record of successful case management and litigation experience.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
