JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for operating the Bone Process to ensure uptime for production, quality, and yields, while ensure the safest work environment possible. The Bone Process Operator is responsible for approaching their work in a positive manner and will work to perpetuate a "Creekstone Proud" culture through attitude and actions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversees the operations of centrifuges, Grinders, bone drier, load out area, meal grinder, Gel bone operation
  • Manage operation of the process to produce product that is within specification
  • Maximize yields by having a clear understanding of yields of product
  • Able to do load paperwork on shipments
  • Adhere to Safety Program’s rules and regulations
  • Physically capable of performing job duties while wearing a Respirator in certain situations
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Knowledge of mechanical operations of equipment
  • Detail oriented, organized, reliable and resourceful
  • Ability to maintain high expectations for self and others, demonstrating a dedication to achievement of results
  • Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment
  • Solid problem solving, project management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Climbing, stooping, and crouching occasionally; Standing for 8 or more hours per day; Walking frequently; Pushing, pulling, and grasping to move materials in the warehouse; Must be able to lift 0 – 80+lbs; Able to work in hot and cold environments; Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) occasionally – hard hat, safety-toe boots, safety goggles, hair/beard net, etc.
