Northern Star Montessori School, located at 6340 Mae Anne Ave. Suite 7 Reno, NV 89523 is looking to find a floating teacher, or a Montessori Certified lead teacher to join our new school for the current school year Start date is flexible. We enroll children ages 2 and a half through Kindergarteners, age 6. Part time position available now and could increase into a full-time position. Must be background checked in Nevada, have experience working in early childhood development/education, be calm, nurturing and patient with children, and having an interest in, or some experience in Montessori education would be ideal. Some courses are required through Nevada Registry and can be taken for free online. The assistant teacher will provide support and guidance to children and the lead teacher in the classroom. Qualified Montessori teachers will be doing lesson planning, tracking lessons, and giving lessons to the children. The pay will depend on experience.
