Job Title: Network Project Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Network Project Manager to join our team. The Network Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing network infrastructure projects from initiation to closure. The successful candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical expertise in networking technologies, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage network infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones and performance metrics.
- Identify project risks and issues, and develop risk mitigation and issue resolution strategies.
- Coordinate project resources, including internal team members, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
- Manage project budgets, expenses, and procurement activities, and ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
- Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders and senior management through regular status reports and meetings.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and discussions to gather requirements, resolve issues, and make decisions.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- years of experience in project management, with a focus on network infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical expertise in networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, routing, switching, and wireless.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex network infrastructure projects from initiation to closure.
- Strong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience with agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
- Experience with network design, architecture, and implementation.
- Certification in networking technologies such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud networking technologies and architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
