We are specifically seeking candidates who come from small, start up environments. This onsite position in Culver City is looking for someone to engage with an iterative process that includes developing a test plan for the system, validating measurement techniques, performing data analysis, and producing test reports that will be used as part of verification.Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for the integrated electromechanical system, encompassing software, hardware, instrumentation, and hand-held tools.
  • Collaborate extensively with electrical, software, mechanical and control engineers to integrate design decisions, track changes, and ensure tests reflect evolving system specifications.
  • Leverage Python programming skills to develop and enhance testing systems. This involves incorporating sensor data, conducting data analysis, and drawing clear, well-documented conclusions.
  • Independently source test components by reading spec sheets and selecting appropriate parts for specialized testing needs.
  • Utilize the system requirements database to make informed testing decisions that align with project objectives.
  • Apply understanding of FDA regulations to develop test protocols and documentation for medical device within a regulated industry.
  • Maintain adherence to project timelines and milestones.
Qualifications
  • BS in electrical/mechanical/mechatronics engineering or physics.
  • 6+ years of experience with development of test protocols and test documentation in a regulated industry – medical device/FDA.
  • Extensive experience in authoring clear, effective design documentation, test protocols and test reports.
  • Startup experience in fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and deal with ambiguity.
  • Experience with python and ROS.
  • Highly collaborative.
Hourly Pay of $55-75 an hour, depending on background and experience
