  • Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the educational needs of 4th-grade students.
  • Implement varied teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Establish and maintain a positive and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Use effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior and create a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
  • Assess students' progress through ongoing observations, formal assessments, and standardized testing.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and support their social-emotional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to create a supportive and enriching educational experience for students.
  • Participate in professional development and stay abreast of best practices and educational trends.
  • Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences and 21st-century skills.
  • Contribute to the school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and events.
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Valid teaching certification in the applicable grade level and state licensure.
  • Proven experience in teaching elementary school students, particularly 4th graders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of child development, learning theories, and best practices in education.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create and maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development through participation in workshops, training sessions, etc.
  • Passion for fostering a love for learning and helping students achieve their full potential.
