Position: Enhancement Manager

Location: Sarasota FL

Job Summary:

As the Landscape Enhancement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of landscape enhancement projects for our commercial clients. Your primary focus will be on improving the aesthetic appeal and functionality of landscapes, while ensuring high-quality work, customer satisfaction, and profitable outcomes. You will lead a team of skilled landscapers and irrigation technicians and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and manage landscape enhancement projects from start to finish. This includes site evaluations, estimating project costs, developing timelines, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of landscapers, enhancement crew members and irrigation technicians. Provide guidance, training, and support to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce.
  • Client Engagement: Interact with Clients and Account Manager to understand their specific enhancement needs, offer expert advice, and present creative landscape solutions that align with their preferences and budget.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all landscape enhancements meet the company's quality standards and are in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Vendor Management: Source and manage relationships with external suppliers, nurseries, and vendors to obtain necessary materials and equipment for enhancement projects.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for the team and clients during enhancement projects.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project costs, review expenditures, and implement strategies to optimize profitability while maintaining high-quality results.
  • Site Assessments: Conduct site evaluations to identify opportunities for landscape improvement and provide clients with detailed proposals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and innovative products related to landscape enhancement, and implement best practices accordingly.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in landscape management and enhancement.
  • Strong knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs, and landscape installation principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with landscape software and design tools is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to different project sites.
