Acme Sample has an opportunity for a Team Leader role for our new warehouse/fulfillment site. The role will have 2-3 employees working directly with him/her. The company may fill in other positions within the Warehouse as needed to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain warehouse operational infrastructure.
  • Maintain data integrity within the Warehouse Management System.
  • Maintain efficient, cost-effective operations layout.
  • Monitor and maintain any daily operating schedules.
  • Coordinate cycle counts and complete as needed.
  • Coordinate production of pillow products.
  • Ensure a clean, safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures.
  • Ensure staff receives training for job activities, and define specific job assignments.
  • Coordinate Logistics/Freight as needed.
  • Ability to handle 75lb rolls of fabric
  • Ability to operate a sit down and standup forklift
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Ability to execute tasks according to relative priority
  • Meet Fulfillment Objectives
  • Pick and Pack customer orders
  • Ship products per customer specifications
  • Invoice customers through the Fulfillment system
  • Communicate with customers as needed
Requirements:

Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience within a warehouse/fulfillment role
  • Fabric jobber experience preferred

Qualifications:

  • Capable of using Warehouse Management Systems and software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
