Job DescriptionJob Description

Hattie Larlham has a new opening for Training Assistant to support the Professional Development staff in facilitating new hire orientation. Primary job duties include scheduling classes and maintaining the training calendar, assisting staff with class registration, maintaining the training compliance database (e.g., licensure, registration and certification renewals), generating audits and reports, creating training and promotional materials for courses offered, and general office clerical duties. The Training Assistant also provides coverage for the first day of new hire orientation by facilitating the eight (8) hour class for recently hired Hattie Larlham employees.

Opening:

  • Professional Development Training Assistant
  • Location: 9772 Diagonal Rd., Mantua, OH 44255
  • Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours / week, Monday - Friday, 1st shift with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED. Post-high school coursework or degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in use of Microsoft Office 365, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software programs and needed for training/organization purposes.
  • A valid Ohio Driver’s License and ability to travel to multiple worksites required to maintain employment.
  • Previous experience in training, presentation, and public speaking experience preferred.
  • Previous experience providing direct care, service and/or support to individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
