We are looking for a developer to grow our team with automated workflows The position is contract and expected to be a part-time time commitment.


Working through a backlog and then on a per-project basis. The ideal candidate should have advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, Application Programming Interfaces, and webhooks. Knowledge of Python, node, HTML, and OAuth would be a plus.


Technical Skills


  • Zapier Proficiency

Setting up and managing Zaps (automated workflows)

Using built-in Zapier apps and features

Troubleshooting and optimizing Zaps for performance

  • HTML/CSS Coding

Writing and understanding HTML for structuring web content

Using CSS to style and design web pages

Knowledge of responsive design principles

  • JavaScript Knowledge

Basic to intermediate understanding of JavaScript for enhancing web functionality

Writing custom code to extend Zapier's capabilities

  • API Integration

Understanding of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and how they work

Experience with RESTful APIs for creating, reading, updating, and deleting data

Familiarity with authentication methods (e.g., OAuth, API keys)

  • Webhooks

Setting up and handling webhooks to receive real-time data from different services

Parsing and processing webhook payloads

  • Programming and Scripting Languages

Knowledge of Python, Node.js, or similar for advanced automation tasks

Writing and maintaining scripts to automate repetitive tasks

Breaking down complex problems into smaller, manageable tasks

Debugging and troubleshooting issues effectively

Ensuring accuracy in coding and automation processes

Testing and validating workflows to ensure they function as expected

Creating clear and comprehensive documentation for workflows, code, and API integrations

Maintaining records of changes and updates

Explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Collaborating with team members and clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Providing training and support to users on how to use automation and integrations

Creating user guides and tutorials

Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in Zapier, web development, and automation technologies

Adapting to new tools, frameworks, and methodologies as needed
