JOB TITLE: OPERATOR I
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Operator I is responsible for the efficient execution of scheduled production orders. The individual must maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. They will also be responsible for filling out the production and quality paperwork. In addition, it is expected that this individual will have the ability to not only identify improvement opportunities but also the drive to implement them. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and eager to learn.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
- Assist the team during product changeovers.
- Documenting daily production performance and issues
- Maintain continual production of the machines to maximize daily output.
- Perform inspection functions throughout the assignment.
- Maintain communication with Operator 2 and colleagues throughout the assignment.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and contributes to overall organization.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

- Must possess strong mechanical aptitude
EDUCATION:
High School diploma, a plus.
EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting, a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Extended periods of standing.
- Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 60 pounds.
WORK LOCATION: Somers, WI
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full-time
