Assistant Program Director

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborates with the Program Director to review/direct ongoing program design, implementation and evaluation of programming. Establishes programming based upon respectful client care, cultural competence, quality assurance, standard of practice, treatment outcome measures.
- Reviews and revises clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance and accountability to internal/external authorities in coordination with Program Director.
- Assists the Program Director in maintaining quality of care and client satisfaction.
- Supervises clinical, administrative and case management staff as directed by the Program Director.
- Assists the Program Director in compiling State Funding and/or program reports/ statistical summaries in a timely manner.
- Provides professional clinical services to individual clients, groups of clients, and/or families in the CS-HHC setting or general community. Maintains client confidentiality and follow agency, state, and HIPAA laws at all times.
- Formulates bio-psychosocial assessments and diagnosis, treatment plans/reviews and goals according to a site-specific timeline.
- Evaluates data relating to the bio-psychosocial consequences of physical and emotional illness, disability and/or substance abuse.
- Performs on-call coverage when mandated by the Program Director Responsible for performing the duties of the Program Director in his/her absence.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Requirements:
- M.A./Ph.D./Psy. D in Behavioral Health required. License eligible required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist).
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the treatment of patients with psychiatric and/or substance abuse disorders and associated conditions (internships/fellowships will be considered).
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the supervision of clinical staff.
- Supervisory and managerial skills are essential.
- Knowledge and competency regarding diagnosis, assessment and treatment of behavioral health services. Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to generate high levels of client satisfaction.
- Must demonstrate age specific/population specific competencies in area(s) of practice.
- Knowledge and skills related to individual, group and family system dynamics. Must demonstrate cultural competence.
