Summary

Provide expertise and support production in the areas of machining, flowforming, broaching, deburring and automation activities for the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Owns and manages assigned cells/products, reporting out key measurables to management team.
  • Drive process improvement, including scrap reduction and throughput improvement.
  • Support re-work/sort procedures and execution
  • Provide process support to production team, helping troubleshoot issues that prevent effective cell manufacturing.
  • Support sub-supplier communication / issue resolution.
  • Use of SolidWorks to support production activities.
  • Ability to lead teams of individuals to improve products and processes, including continuous improvement projects to optimize manufacturing performance.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and suppliers.
  • Continuous Improvement project participation
  • Process Safety Improvements
  • Support all areas of the company on an as-needed basis, including but not limited to, production (setups/ problem resolution), maintenance (layouts, changeovers, etc.) and quality (PPAPs, CMM activities, etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Experience / Education

  • Agree to NETFORM Employee Handbook
  • Pass pre-employment screening (e.g., drug test, physical, and background check)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
  • Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college/university – Major Engineering OR Minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous high-volume manufacturing experience preferred
