Columbia Dental (483 Middle Turnpike West - Manchester) is seeking highly motivated individuals for our exciting 2024 Internship Program This program offers a unique opportunity to:

  • Gain hands-on experience assisting dental professionals in a fast-paced clinical and educational setting
  • Learn essential dental procedures and terminology under the guidance of experienced dentists and hygienists
  • Develop valuable chairside skills, including patient communication and instrument sterilization
  • Observe patient consultations, examinations, and treatments
  • Network with dental professionals and gain valuable insights into the industry

General Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strong interest in dentistry and a desire to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor and commitment to teamwork
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Reliable transportation and availability for flexible scheduling

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience working in a dental office is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks
  • Demonstrates problem-solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Self-motivated with the ability to exceed expectations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to pass background checks

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to be physically mobile (stand, walk, reach, climb, bend) and also the ability to stand for prolonged periods throughout the day/work hours when needed
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate medical equipment, keyboard, copier, telephone, and the ability to write/type
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds occasionally
