Job Title: Sales & Dispatch

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to lead the sales and customer outreach of our disposal business as well as manage the dispatching of bins using specialized software. This role requires someone who is not only skilled in logistics but also has a strong customer service acumen. The successful candidate will connect with new and existing customers to secure orders while also coordinating the timely delivery and pick-up of bins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispatch Operations: Efficiently manage the scheduling and dispatching of bins using dispatch software to ensure timely service.
  • Sales & Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their needs, upsell services, and convert inquiries into sales.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and the operations team to ensure smooth logistics.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly address and resolve any scheduling conflicts, delays, or customer concerns.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter and update customer and delivery information into the dispatch software.
  • Reporting: Monitor and report on dispatch performance metrics and sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with dispatching software or similar logistics platforms.
  • Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in the waste management or logistics industry.
