Premier Medical Resources is seeking an HR Coordinator for our office in the Jersey Village area (77040).

The HR Coordinator provides administrative support to the human resources department as needed, including greeting visitors/clients, record-keeping, file maintenance, and auditing. The HR Coordinator is often exposed to all human resources procedures and assists with tasks throughout all areas of the HR department. The position has an active role in ensuring all human resources functions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Human Resources

  • Maintain filing system both hard copy and electronic/online records (active and terminated employees) with an emphasis on electronic system and retention. Maintains a clean and organized filing room.
  • Audits employees' records for compliance with professional licenses and certifications
  • Audits employee files (digital/hard copy) for discrepancies
  • Assists with the coordinating and handling of all New Hire pre-boarding tasks; drafts offer letters and prepares New Hire documents to send to candidates
  • Collects and reviews New Hire documents to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Initiates pre-employment background checks and drug screening order; ensures reporting and results are in compliance and within standards for hiring
  • Obtains licensure/certifications required by the job and outlined on job description; ensures credentials are active and unexpired
  • Coordinates and schedules onboarding zoom calls for New Hires
  • Launches Paylocity Onboarding to New Hires
  • Notifies and coordinates with the IT department to set up New Hire technology access and/or workstation
  • Facilitate communication with staffing agencies and hiring managers for all temporary staffing needs
  • Manage affiliation agreements with vocational schools and the placement of students

Front Desk

  • Manage all front desk activities and serves as the first point of contact for all incoming visitors and clients
  • Receive incoming calls, determine the nature of each call, and directs the caller to the appropriate person or department
  • Assist with mail and package pick-up and deliveries
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; reserves conference rooms, and performs other clerical functions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information
  • Basic understanding of HR practices and procedures
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt and learn new skills quickly
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrates great time management skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • On-site position
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
