Job Summary And Qualifications:


The Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) works in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting providing a wide range of treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. You will utilize various types of oxygen and other therapeutic gas equipment. The patient population may range from newborn to geriatric. You will educate patients on treatments and available programs.


  • Deliver and assess responses to ordered therapy per plan of care, including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures.
  • Measure ventilator volumes, pressures, and blood gas analysis.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and general acceptance of treatment.
  • Perform a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment.


What qualifications you will need:


  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
  • 1-3 years of Respiratory Therapy experience in the NICU.
  • BLS and NRP certifications.
  • ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 2 months of hire.


This role may require you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
