Description of the Role:Village Caregiving is seeking an In Home Caregiver to provide compassionate and professional care to our clients in Spearfish and Belle Fourche South Dakota. As an In Home Caregiver, you will assist individuals with daily activities, personal care, and provide emotional support. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated, empathetic, and has a strong desire to help others.
Responsibilities:- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Help with meal preparation and encourage healthy eating habits
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Report any changes in clients' condition to the appropriate supervisor
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Prior experience as a caregiver is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a background check
- Competitive compensation of $18 - $20 per hour DOE
