  • Safely operates the press brake machine, CNC-controlled plasma cutting machine, a laser CNC-controlled cutting machine, a CNC-controlled brake press, and a saw.
  • Monitor and maintain all fluid levels on the machine being operated and change filters as appropriate.
  • Closely monitor the machine while in operation, never leaving the immediate work area while the machine is in operation, and be ready to respond to breakdowns quickly in order to shut down the machine.
  • Knowledgeable of and able to use instruments such as: outside and inside diameter dimension tape measure, combination square, level, and dial indicators.
  • Safely use hand tools including hammer, adjustable wrench, air grinder, pencil grinder, and air wrenches.
  • Read cut lists using basic reading skills and knowledge of materials regarding types of steel.
  • Safely operate cranes and forklifts.
  • Clock in and out properly on assigned jobs, as appropriate.
  • Will continue to train for competency in the operation of additional equipment.
  • Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
  • Follow proper safety rules and procedures at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience and knowledge of CNC controls and CNC programming is required.
  • Laser experience is required.
  • Ability to operate a press brake is required.
  • Advanced blueprint reading and math skills are required.
  • Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts is required.
  • Experience in fan balancing or the ability to train on a balancing machine.
  • Overtime including some weekends required
Some travel may be required
