Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Communicate plans and expectations to third party contractor, including receipt plans; floor set programs, shipping schedule and the prioritization of workload.
  • Identify and share key operational performance metrics and take action to ensure all Service Level Agreements are adhered to.
  • Manage the expenses in the facilities, and work with the third-party providers to improve efficiency and drive expense reductions.

  • Address and resolve any issues related to order discrepancies or delays.
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach in all warehouse operations to support overall business objectives.
  • Oversee a domestic multi-site warehousing network and our logistics organization.
  • Manage logistics for inbound, inter-company and outbound shipments including 3PL’s for domestic, international and parcel freight programs.
  • Develop long-range objectives and strategies for the distribution centers, monitor performance against these objectives and provide feedback to site direct report(s) and team members.
  • Provide strong leadership to create and execute strategies, improvement priorities and the predictable delivery of other KPIs.
  • Create standard operating procedures and best practices in terms of performance monitoring to optimize quality, cost and delivery time.
  • Work closely with our supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure all products are transported efficiently and cost-effectively from our suppliers, manufacturing plants and distribution centers.
  • Drive predictable productivity & business results while also ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Promotes “total customer satisfaction” (delivery, quality etc.) within all Operations teams.
  • Ensure employee safety at the distribution centers.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of logistics experience in a high volume, fast pace, 3-5 of which include full building responsibility
  •  Experience working with Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances brands required
  •  Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and Customers’ compliance requirements (Routing Guides)
  •  Experience in 4-wall expense management
  •  Strong collaboration, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  •  A college degree is highly desirable
  • Team Leadership and Management
