Job Summary:
As an entry-level Civil Engineer - Design Engineer, you play a pivotal role within our organization. Utilizing your civil engineering expertise and proficiency in CADD software, you contribute daily to client service excellence and project innovation. Your responsibilities include active participation in the development of design studies, reports, contract drawings, and estimates.

Additionally, you conduct research within county and state highway administration (SHA) databases to retrieve plats, deeds, and pertinent records. Fieldwork, inspections, utility location, and topographical verifications also form part of your diverse workload. Keen on continuous learning, you stay abreast of industry trends and methodologies, ensuring your work remains cutting-edge. You thrive in our dynamic environment, committed to crafting functional and aesthetically pleasing designs that benefit our clients and community.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CIVIL ENGINEER - DESIGN ENGINEER

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
  • Proficiency in CADD programs
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) registration preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with precise CADD design skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities, adept at multitasking
  • Creative problem-solving skills with strong critical thinking
  • Effective team player with excellent communication skills
