Job Description

The Non-Ferrous Laborer is responsible for supporting the Non-Ferrous Sorter in sorting and processing non-ferrous materials, including aluminum, copper, brass, and stainless steel. The laborer will also be responsible for assisting in the preparation of materials for sale, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Non-Ferrous Sorter in sorting and processing non-ferrous materials.

  • Prepare materials for sale by segregating and cleaning them.

  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and tracking the movement of materials.

  • Foster positive relationships with customers and vendors to encourage repeat business and maintain a positive reputation in the industry.

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding salvage yard operations.

  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including enforcing safety protocols and ensuring that all employees are adhering to environmental regulations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
