Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Prepare journal entries, including accruals and adjustments.

Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and collection of receivables.

Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.

Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.

Assist with audit requests and respond to inquiries from auditors.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

Participate in the development and implementation of new accounting systems and software.


Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in accounting
