Schedule of the Maintenance Technician:

Monday - Friday

8 hour shift

$28 - $33 DOE

Maintenance Technician


POSITION PURPOSE: This position is responsible for the routine, preventive and predictive maintenance of a variety of manufacturing equipment, including high speed production assembly equipment and filtration membrane manufacturing. The position also supports maintenance needs of facility support equipment and processes.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS-RESPONSIBILTY:

  1. Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to production equipment.
  2. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
  3. Assist other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs and research.
  4. Work directly with production personnel to isolate equipment problems.
  5. Interact with computer-based maintenance database system
  6. Assist in maintaining equipment information and repair files.
  7. Participates in plant environmental, health, and safety programs.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Three to five years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair.
  2. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, disciplines.
  3. Must have good troubleshooting skills.
  4. The ability to read and comprehend equipment technical schematics and service

manuals.

  1. Must have good computer skills to effectively use E-mail, maintenance data bases as

well as office documents such as Word, Excel etc.

  1. Ability to write clear and detailed repair reports.
  2. Must have good communication skills and effectively work in a team environment.
  3. Position may require handling, labeling, moving and monitoring Hazardous and

Universal Waste and will require training applicable to waste handling

responsibilities.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS;

  1. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  2. Able to work at height and climb ladders.

 

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

 

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Occasional overtime
