HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST - FULL-TIME

Celebrate the Children, a school for children with alternative learning styles has an immediate full-time opening for a dynamic Human Resource Generalist to join our fast-paced team and work at our Denville campus.

HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Work collaboratively with the HR Director and HR Staff on all aspects of recruitment, including.

    • Drive recruitment strategies to attract and hire talent at all levels.

    • Manage the full cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.

    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and fill open positions.

    • Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms, social media, and community resources.

    • Stay up-to-date with employment labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance with recruitment practices.

    • Conduct the onboarding of newly hired employees, including but not limited to new hire orientation and processing of new hire paperwork.

  • Support day-to-day delivery of HR services.

  • Employee leave administration (all duties related to leave administration).

  • Workers compensation administration.

  • Coordinate and assist with department projects.

  • Support teachers, department managers, and administration with the annual performance process.

  • Complete other duties as assigned.

HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least (3) three years' work experience in HR.

  • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, GSuite, and related software.

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the school HRIS, ADP Workforce Now talent management system experience preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience with federal compliance reporting, OSHA, FLSA, DOL, EEOC, ERISA, FMLA, etc.

  • Excellent reporting, communication, and writing skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks with exceptional follow-up skills.
