As an IT Intern, you will work closely with our IT department to support day-to-day operations and assist with IT projects. This position offers the opportunity to gain exposure to network administration, technical support, software/hardware troubleshooting, and IT project management.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.

• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

• Assist in the setup and deployment of new computer equipment and software applications.

• Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals.

• Document technical procedures and create user guides for IT systems.

• Collaborate with IT team members on various projects and initiatives.

• Perform routine IT tasks, such as system backups, updates, and inventory management.

• Respond to help desk tickets and resolve technical issues promptly.

• Support IT security measures and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.



Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking principles.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.

• Proactive and detail-oriented with a passion for technology.

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this intern role is $20.00 per hour, no more than 32 hours per week; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location, and often contractual requirements.
