Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Greet and welcome clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk area
- Collect client information, update records, and ensure accuracy of all paperwork
- Scanning records, reminders and notes into veterinary software program,
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
- Provide basic information to clients regarding pet care, medications, and procedures
- Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and part of a team Requirements
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills for managing appointments, records, and client information
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds
