Position: Medical Assistant and Front Desk

Location: 300 S Ocotillo Ave, Benson

Type: Part Time

Role Overview: This role offers a unique opportunity for pre-med students to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting, develop their medical knowledge, and prepare for a future career in medicine. The position is ideal for those taking a gap year before entering medical school.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Check-in/Check-out patients arriving and leaving the medical, surgical, and cosmetic appointments.

- Collect patient payments for both services and product sales. Provide outstanding customer service for all patients and customers.

- Maintain positive attitude in a busy environment.

- Schedule follow-up appointments.

- Rooming patients

-Managing patient flow/triage

-Assisting providers with exams and surgical procedures

-Assisting providers with documentation

-Assessing and responding to prescription refill requests

-Preparing exam rooms for office visits and surgical procedures

-Stocking exam rooms, assisting providers with documentation

-Scheduling appointments and addressing patient phone calls appropriately

-Providing patient education and post-operative care instructions

-Maintaining a professional attitude and attire at all times

-Bilingual a plus
