We are actively seeking an experienced and adaptable individual to join our rapidly growing organization as a Talent Acquisition and HR Coordinator. This role will be primarily responsible for supporting recruitment, sourcing, and onboarding of our Medical Treatment Provider team. Our ideal candidate has expertise in recruitment,sourcing, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for people. Candidates who are recent graduates or have completed and internship or externship and are looking to launch their career in HR within the Mental Health/Tele-Health field are encouraged to apply 


This position is in a hybrid setting in Grand Rapids, MI with operating hours from Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm and will report to the HR Manager. The pay range is starting at $19.50 and is commensurate with experience. This role will report into the Grandville office.



Role and Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Sourcing (60%)

  • Full cycle recruitment consisting of sourcing, recruitment, and onboarding of contracted healthcare providers   
  • Candidate resume screening and conducting phone/virtual interviews
  • Meeting department recruitment goals and filling open positions in a timely manner
  • Assists hiring managers on delivering the highest standard of interviews and overall candidate experience     
  • Participates in and leads initiatives to improve recruiting approaches to ensure the successful delivery of talent

Onboarding (30%)

  • Compose and deliver job offer letters to selected candidates, facilitating seamless communication and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Collaborates closely with the clinical team to assess provider network recruitment needs and coordinate provider availability to align with patient demand
  • Collaboration with internal managers to develop employee departmental training and resource materials
  • Partner with clinical team to onboard contracted providers

HR Administration (10%)

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with leadership team to identify and coordinate training and development initiatives
  • Assists with management of HRIS system, and appropriate recruiting/onboarding systems
  • Foster a positive company culture through active engagement and initiatives that promote employee collaboration, inclusivity, and well-being
  • Support the coordination of employee recognition programs and initiatives
  • Assists in the maintenance and improvement of department processes and procedures, including the proper documentation of them
  • Files, maintains, and audits HR-related paperwork
  • Assist with other duties, as assigned


Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration/related field; Preferred Bachelor's degree in HR/related field
  • 1-2 years of recruitment/sourcing experience
  • Proficient in Google Suite or able to rapidly become familiar with the tool
  • 1-2 years of general human resources experience with a solid understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Experience with Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruitment sites  
  • Healthcare experience is a plus
