Tax Intern

Tax Management Services, Inc. specializes in individual and small business taxes. We have been assisting clients with all facets of their financial needs including taxes, small business accounting services and investments for over 30 years. 

We are currently hiring a part-time Seasonal Tax Intern located in the Duluth, MN community. Tax Interns perform a number of important tasks that impact the overall tax and administrative processes set forth by the leadership team. 

 

Expectations:

  • Prepare individual and business tax returns
  • Research tax issues and stay informed with Tax Law updates
  • Perform tax procedures timely and accurately
  • Successfully manage time to meet client turnaround
  • Provide administrative support to daily operations including completing e-sign process, process client payments, mail/deliver and hand out documents, and verify opening/closing checklists are complete

 

Job Qualifications

  • Pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Previous accounting/tax knowledge or coursework a plus
  • Proven experience in customer service a preferred but not required
  • Basic understanding of professional office expectations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
