We are working with a leading pharmaceutical company seeking a skilled Packaging Line Mechanic to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have experience with fillers/bottling systems in a manufacturing environment. This direct-hire position offers competitive pay and excellent benefits. Shift availability:

5pm to 1:30am

1am to 9:30am


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Extensive experience with fillers and bottling systems.
  • Strong focus on maintenance management, problem prevention, and continuous improvement.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Basic machinist experience with lathe and mill is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC drivers.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, and steam systems.
  • Perform daily set-ups, adjustments, and maintenance of bottle packaging machinery.
  • Handle quality changeovers, set-ups, adjustments, repairs, and preventative maintenance for all packaging machinery..
  • Troubleshoot PLC and machine circuit boards.
  • Assist with Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ) for new machines and tooling.
  • Continuously review machine safety features to ensure optimal performance.
