Position Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis the Data Analyst is a key member of THMA’s Financial Planning & Analysis team. The Data Analyst will support THMA’s revenue operations by conducting research and analyzing market data to identify trends and areas of opportunity.

Primary Job Duties:
  • Process ad hoc reporting requests including but not limited to market share trends, capacity planning, demand forecasting, payor rate data to drive payor negotiations, etc.
  • Conduct market research on identified industry trends and financials
  • Utilize available tools such as Tableau and PowerPoint to create effective data visualizations to quickly synthesize research into digestible format
  • Process data requests quickly with a customer-service mentality
  • Collaborate with other team members on cross functional projects involving relevant data sets or industry topics
  • Assist with creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Participate as an internal consultant on a variety of enterprise-wide projects as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1+ year of work experience in data analytics and/or data visualization
  • Understanding of data management systems and database structures
  • General interest in healthcare datasets and its business applications
  • Skills in researching and analyzing complex data sets, including an ability to synthesize and summarize large amounts of information and to focus quickly on the essence of an issue
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools Tableau is preferred

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, and distance vision, and the ability to work with screens or monitors for prolonged periods of time. This position is primarily a sedentary job where the team member will be seated for the majority of the day.

Compensation:
Pay starting from 80k and up based upon experience per year plus benefits
