Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Includes but not limited to the following:

  • Manage and coordinate timing of rail freight and logistics.
  • Maintain and build upon current supply agreements and relationships with end users and railroads.
  • Coordinate with merchandising team in accounting estimates and actual P&L.
  • Develop and execute an annual grain marketing strategy based on market conditions.
  • Set grain bids for farmers and elevators.
  • Provide valuations for month-end financial statements.
  • Find markets and obtain farmer participation for special grain production.
  • Understand national/regional grain flows and maintain a network of industry contacts to exchange information.
  • Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid state motor vehicle license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.

One to two years of related experience.Good computer skills.
