Job Description:
As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of vehicles with diesel engines. Your expertise will ensure our customers’ vehicles are running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs
- Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose.
- Replace or repair needed parts
- Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Collaborate with team members and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in automotive or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel technician.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
