Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

Stephenson Equipment, Inc (SEI), an industry leader in Pennsylvania and New York providing sales, rentals, parts and service for construction equipment, cranes, paving, road building and road maintenance equipment, has an immediate need for Heavy Equipment Detailer in our Harrisburg, PA location.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Steam clean / pressure wash new and used equipment.

• Hand wash, clean, and detail equipment.

• Remove and clean asphalt from paving equipment.

• Perform light service work as needed.

• Comply with all safety procedures and adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

The best fit to our team will have:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

· Most work is performed in a garage environment with moderate to loud noise levels. Temperatures vary from season to season. Job requires extended periods of standing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching depending on the machine that needs detailed within the 8-10 hour work day. Detailer needs the ability to lift at least 50lbs with an occasional lift of up to 100lbs with assistance of a crane.
