About This Role:

Job Overview

Achieving The Dream is seeking an Information Technology Intern to support the IT department. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enjoys interacting with people, solving problems, reaching new heights and is not afraid of a challenge.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support ATD’s IT infrastructure and enterprise applications.
  • Assist in data maintenance for ATD’s client database and other core systems.
  • Assist with requests and troubleshoot issues, working with diverse user groups.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Gain experience in the field of Systems Administration (Azure, M365, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Gain experience working with a small but agile team of IT professionals.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of non-profit IT needs.
  • Data Management & Security
  • Technical Support & Training
  • Demonstrate an understanding of IT policies and compliance.
  • Gain experience with large enterprise software applications including Office 365 and Salesforce.
  • Develop skill competencies specific to an occupation or professional interest.

Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Demonstrated software and technology knowledge, both theoretical (coursework) and practical.
  • Demonstrated research and general IT systems administration skills.
  • Basic familiarity with modern programming languages, patterns, and frameworks.
  • Basic familiarity with modern relational database designs and interactions.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, databases, and word processing.
  • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and able to work independently while meeting specific deadlines.
