Job Summary:
The Admissions Counselor is responsible for supporting clients through the admissions process to enter the appropriate Lightfully program and level of care. This includes answering initial calls, helping the client to understand the admissions process or answer any questions they might have, receiving new cases, and delivering a concierge level experience to the client. The Admissions Counselor is responsible for their managing caseloads and maintaining appropriate information regarding the client's admissions process.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Upholds and maintains the Company, mission, and values (called the Lightfully "Shining Commitments").
  • Answering phone calls, live chats, web forms, and other avenues of inquiry.
  • Scheduling clinical assessments and coordinating with assessment specialists.
  • Supporting clients through the Lightfully admissions and clearance process.
  • Helping clients to understand full financial picture and applicable benefit information.
  • Collaborating with outpatient providers and referents to help support clients into our care.
  • Collaborating with internal department leaders on bed management, admissions prep, and special initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate client records within Salesforce database.
  • Managing personal caseload.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.


Specific Skills/Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership, staff, patients, referents, and the public.
  • Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task required.


General Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, required.
  • Sales or customer service experience, preferably in healthcare. Experience working in a CRM system, preferably Salesforce, required
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work for prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

The pay range for this position is $20.89-$31.38 hourly.
