Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Design and Application:
- Design electric motor controls for overhead cranes and hoists, ensuring all systems meet high safety and efficiency standards.
- Apply specifications for Magnetic Motor Starters, Relays, and AC inverters, adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
Problem Resolution and Support:
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve manufacturing issues, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Assist in all phases of product development, from initial design to final implementation, providing critical support and innovative solutions.
Documentation and Drawing Development:
- Prepare detailed single-line diagrams, panel layouts, and interconnect drawings. Develop connection/cable diagrams and general arrangement drawings that meet the highest standards of quality and clarity.
Component Specification and Design Improvement:
- Size and specify purchase components/BOMs based on industry standards and vendor information. Provide input for design improvements to enhance functionality or reduce costs.
- Modify and improve existing circuit designs as necessary to optimize performance and reliability.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience: 3-7 years in Electrical Engineering, focusing on Electrical Design and Motor Controls.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical 2016 (or equivalent), PLC & HMI Programming, NEC Electrical Code, and experience with Rockwell, Siemens, or Danfoss PLC/VFD programming.
- Location: Must be local to Houston, within a one-hour commute from the 77377-zip code.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Zuken E3 and additional PLC/HMI programming with Rockwell, Siemens, or Danfoss PLC/VFD.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
