At Elevated, we are seeking dynamic leaders to join our bookkeeping and payroll client services team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in serving multiple business clients through exceptional bookkeeping and payroll processing. Your role will involve guiding clients through the process of gathering information, streamlining their books, ensuring year-round maintenance, and finalizing year-end procedures. You'll also communicate with clients, tax accountants, and relevant government agencies. We are dedicated to providing additional support and training to help you excel in your role.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of the accounting and payroll team's work, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Create and maintain streamlined processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide comprehensive training to our talented teams, empowering them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel.
  • Deliver exceptional client training, ensuring they understand and leverage their financial data effectively.
  • Engage in exciting client projects, collaborating closely with our valued partners to achieve their unique objectives.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with various platforms, including Microsoft, G Suite, Payroll Processing software, Karbon QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online. Ability to quickly adapt to new software.
  • Extensive knowledge of Federal and State Tax and Payroll laws, as well as IRS compliance.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and their application.
  • Impeccable attention to detail, coupled with excellent problem-solving and project management skills.

Qualifications:

  •  Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll and bookkeeping within a public accounting environment.  An accounting degree or certificate is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and organizational abilities that will contribute to our collaborative and supportive work culture.
  • Proven ability to thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt swiftly to changing priorities.
  • Comfort and proficiency in working and communicating effectively with in-office and remote teams.
  • Skill in creating detailed workflows and following tasks accurately.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-resolution skills.
