Position Summary:

The HR Manager will oversee full-cycle HR operations for the Firm's Atlanta offices, playing a pivotal role in executing HR initiatives, fostering talent development, and driving superior performance. This role also encompasses leadership in Employee Communications and Engagement strategy.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with managers and supervisors to enhance firm, departmental, and employee performance.
  • Coach managers on HR matters including team leadership, employee engagement, relations, and performance management.
  • Implement initiatives to maintain turnover below 30%, focusing on employee engagement, manager training, and career path development.
  • Develop and execute the Human Resources Employee Communications and Engagement strategy across the organization, including the Firms Employee Advisory Group (EAG).
  • Advise managers on employee relations issues, escalating when necessary to the Director of Human Resources.
  • Administer Human Resource policies and procedures.
  • Lead the talent acquisition process in collaboration with Recruiters, ensuring time-to-fill is under 30 days.
  • Conduct weekly New Hire Orientations and oversee new hire paperwork, data entry, and onboarding processes.
  • Manage the annual performance review process.
  • Conduct terminations and exit interviews.
  • Address general HR-related queries from employees.
  • Stay updated on state and federal employment laws.
  • Assist with other HR duties and special projects as required.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
  • Working knowledge of Dayforce (Ceridian) is essential.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an HR management role, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Experience with HR systems and extreme attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to adapt to change.
  • Strong organizational and initiative-taking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the HR team.


Education & Work Experience:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelors degree preferred.
  • At least two years of payroll processing or administration experience, ideally in an HR administrative capacity.
  • Must have prior experience with Dayforce/Ceridian.
