As an SAP BASIS Resource within oXya, you will support multiple customers by deploying a large diversity of IT technologies (SAP, DB, OS, Network…). SAP Basis Resources assist the customer in management to diagnose problems, recommend optimum solutions, and aid in implementation activities on the SAP systems.

In keeping with the rapid expansion of both the industry and our business, we are looking for an SAP BASIS Resource to join our office and team. If you are somebody with a SAP background, good communication skills, and have the gift for project management of tasks confidently and independently, this could be the perfect role for you.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Transport and printer management
  • Manage first analysis of incidents and make suggestions on incident resolution.
  • Daily checks and daily reports analysis
  • Manage BASIS scheduler and backup tools, operating systems, and databases.
  • Follow, maintain, and create procedures when necessary.
  • Share knowledge with the team.
  • Participate actively with the team (Technical piece) on crisis.

       

PROJECT/CHANGE MANAGEMENT

  • Handle recurrent projects.
  • Understand and perform refresh operations.
  • Complete client copy/kernel upgrade / STPI, etc.
  • Shadow senior team members on projects (installation, upgrade, etc.)
  • Proactively prepare operations (with help if necessary)

                               

COMMUNICATION/PRESENCE

  • Act as technical daily point of contact for key customers
  • Clear and efficient communication with customers about incidents and operations
  • Assist with customer onboarding in establishing best practices.
  • Provide ongoing support for customer operational practices and activities.
  • Efficiently respond to customer requests; independently manage priorities.
  • Internal & external reporting and documentation
  • Follow operations and help team members with controlled tasks.
  • Complete monthly reports for customers
  • Understand customer concerns and impact.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • B.S in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent years experience
  • Ability to work in teams cross-functionally and cross-geographically.
  • Experience working with SAP systems: HANA, Fiori, S/4HANA.
  • Experience with operating systems: RedHat, SuSe, and Microsoft Windows.
  • Understanding of High availability, and public cloud platforms.
  • Fluency in English
