Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience working with calipers, bore gauges and micrometers
  • Minimum of two(2) years of previous mechanical maintenance experience. (Preferred: Previous aircraft maintenance experience.)
  • High school diploma or an equivalent
  • Proficient in the English language; writing, reading and speaking
  • This position is safety sensitive and adheres to DOT drug and alcohol regulations
  • Must Successfully complete a comprehensive background check

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Examine and evaluate landing gear components to locate any damage
  • Read and interpret technical data and blueprints
  • Take measurements of parts utilizing various equipment both manual and digital
  • Use of a computer or other electronic device to record data
  • Follow instructions per the component maintenance manuals(CMM)
  • Document work performed
  • Maintain an organized work space
  • May occasionally be required to work overtime including evenings or weekends as necessary to meet deadlines
