Job Summary:
The Heavy Commercial HVAC Technician provides customer service in the field to maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems. These systems include, but are not limited to: chillers, cooling towers, boilers, RTU's and split systems.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, and repair issues with commercial and industrial chillers and boilers, including but not limited to compressors, pumps, motors, valves, and electrical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on chillers and boilers.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair chiller and boiler systems.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure effective and efficient operation of chiller and boiler systems.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and provide detailed service reports.
- Respond to emergency repair calls as needed.
- Participates in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with chiller and/or boiler repair and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of chiller systems, including electrical and refrigeration components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
- Must pass a drug screen and complete a satisfactory background check.
