Our Senior Family Law Attorney will:

• Carry a family law caseload from consultation to resolution, with significant autonomy to develop strategy and shepherd clients through the family law process.
• Balance empathy for clients with the professional distance that allows you to practice family law for the long term.
• Communicate effectively in court, with other attorneys, and with clients.
• Work proactively with legal and non-legal staff to ensure a first-class customer experience with our firm, including timely communication throughout the family law process.
• Be able and willing to handle cases in Wake, Johnston, and Harnett Counties.

• You have at least 3 years of substantive, successful first-chair family law experience in Wake County or similar jurisdiction.
• You are comfortable working in a team environment with clear standards for work products, case timelines, timely communication with clients, and attorney timekeeping.
• You are prepared to serve as a director/conductor/quarterback for your caseload, supervising the efforts of legal and administrative staff for the good of clients.

Hiring Requirements:

• Valid North Carolina law license.
• At least three years of successful family law experience, preferably in North Carolina.
• Demonstrated interest in family law.
• Valid North Carolina Notary Public, or ability to obtain it immediately.
• Three professional references.
