- Works under the supervision of engineers or project managers
- Develops and coordinates structural design with other disciplines
- Works from a combination of engineer-generated redlines and self-generated design
- Performs clash detections using background drawings/models
- May develop nearly complete set of structural construction drawings for engineers
- May oversee the work of other drafters and train junior staff
- May perform non-drafting tasks such as construction administration tasks and limited as-built surveys of existing buildings
- Requires 3 to 5 years of experience with Revit and AutoCAD
- Requires personal references to validate drafting and modeling experience
- Needs to demonstrate methodical thinking, attention to detail, and a high degree of organization
- Must be able to work cohesively with other team members, with sometimes limited supervision
- Must be able to handle potentially stressful environment
- Availability during typical office hours, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
