Position: Home Health Biller

Windsor Home Health is a leading home health care provider committed to delivering exceptional care and support to our patients. We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Home Health Biller with 1-3 years of medical billing experience to ensure accurate and timely billing processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent math skills, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to manage billing operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and submit accurate home health billing claims to insurance companies
  • Review and verify patient insurance information and eligibility
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and follow up on unpaid claims
  • Maintain accurate records of billing activities and patient accounts
  • Collaborate with the finance and clinical teams to ensure accurate billing and coding
  • Stay updated on billing regulations and compliance requirements

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of medical billing experience, preferably in home health care
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent math and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
