We are currently hiring for a NA/CNA Floater Position at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu Join our team in the stunning city of Honolulu, Hawaii and have the opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of seniors. $42,000 base, plus bonuses. Overtime pay at 1.5 time base rate available. 

In this versatile, compassionate, and dedicated role as a Floater NA/CNA at Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care and essential support to our senior clients. As a Floater Caregiver, your flexibility and reliability will be key as you support our clients whenever and wherever assigned. Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in fulfilling their personal care needs, ensuring their utmost comfort and preserving their dignity.
  • Manage and provide comprehensive support for clients' medication requirements.
  • Monitor clients' health status and promptly report any changes to the nursing supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate records of all provided care and diligently document any observations or concerns.
  • Offer meaningful companionship, emotional support, and actively listen to clients, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, proficiently handle meal preparation, and expertly run errands as necessary.
  • Create and maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our valued clients.
  • Communicate professionally and efficiently with clients, their families, and the healthcare team.
  • Remain flexible and available to work during varying assigned times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingly travel to different locations as required to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Perform a wide range of tasks tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual client.
  • Adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities to provide the best possible care and support.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Hawaii.
  • Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • Have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while maintaining a full-time schedule.
  • Demonstrate exceptional levels of compassion, patience, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Exhibit the ability to multitask efficiently and skillfully prioritize tasks.
  • Successfully complete a thorough background check and drug screening.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and exhibit unwavering dependability.
  • Be capable of seamlessly adapting to various tasks and environments.
  • Possess outstanding communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and the healthcare team.
