What this Position Does: The Yardi Specialist will excel in managing Yardi Software, possess strong database management skills, and have SQL knowledge. The Yardi Specialist will be overseeing helpdesk operations, ensuring that our team receives timely and effective support. The Yardi Specialist will play a vital role in maintaining the Yardi system, managing data, and providing exceptional helpdesk support to resolve user issues and optimize system use.
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities This Person will be Overseeing:
Lead the Yardi helpdesk function, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of user issues related to Yardi and other systems.
Monitor helpdesk performance metrics, identify trends, and implement improvements to enhance user support.
Offer ongoing support and guidance to ensure users can effectively utilize the Yardi system and resolve any issues they encounter.
Assist with Yardi system upgrades and implementations.
Assist Learning and Development with creating helpdesk documentation, including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to Yardi functionality
Conduct regular audits and maintenance of the Yardi system
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Yardi system and helpdesk operations.
Miscellaneous duties as needed.
Qualifications Involved with the Position: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
What Education and/or Experience You Will Bring to the Table: 1-3 years of experience working directly with Yardi software, property management (multifamily or single-family), real estate industry preferred; strong technical support skills; experience with SQL, SQL queries, coding & scripting.
Computer Skills and/or Office Equipment Knowledge: 5+ years of previous experience working with Yardi property management software in the multifamily industry. Exceptional knowledge of Yardi Voyager, including modules such as Residential Management, Accounting, and RentCafé.
Communication Skills Involved with the Position: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Analytical Abilities this Person Will Bring to the Table: Familiarity with accounting and finance principles is preferred; excellent problem-solving skills.
