Become a Delivery/Courier Driver with CNW – Courier Network, the leading logistics solutions provider, specializes in delivering customized Time Critical, Expedited shipments for the Aerospace, Automotive, and Semiconductors industries. With CNW offices in strategic locations in the US, APAC, Europe, and Israel, and local logistics partners, CNW can provide the fastest and most reliable courier services from anywhere to anywhere in the world.

Our Courier Drivers are freight expediters who are responsible for collecting and delivering parcels, packages, of various sizes within our vast network of airlines. In this role, you will be regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, driving for several hours at a time, and making frequent trips to the airports and surrounding cities.

Where you’ll work
  • Strategically located near JFK, LGA, and EWR airports
  • New York, Jamaica, Queens, Brooklyn.

What you will do

  • Operate cargo van, box van at airline warehouse, load and unload freight as required, and perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
  • Pick up and deliver time-sensitive packages which include samples, equipment, freight, and/or products.
  • Frequent travel between client facilities, airports, and warehouses using company vans, box vans, or pickup trucks.
  • Frequent trips to the airport to pick up or deliver time-sensitive packages.
  • Driving for various lengths of time in and around large metropolitan areas.
  • Maintain a written log of daily activity and help ensure our vehicles are service as well as basic maintenance is kept up.

What you will need

  • High School completion or equivalent is required.
  • 2 or more years as a courier driver or similar experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of how to use Windows operating systems and software applications.
  • We need to be able to ensure you so you must have an acceptable driving record.
  • We want to make sure you find your targets; you should be good with following directions using a GPS unit.
  • Must be organized and be able to prioritize tasks/deliveries. Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • We look for those with excellent communication skills, a positive outlook, and team-oriented with the willingness to go above and beyond for our customers.
  • Those with a high level of professionalism, customer service, and the ability to help others are typical traits of our team
  • We are a 24/7/365 freight expediter operating globally. Our Team Members will need to be available to work a variety of shifts and schedules which include days, second shift, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
