Tooling Processor

Waltonen Engineering is actively seeking a Tooling Processor to join our team
Responsibilities
- Report to Waltonen Processing Manager
- Contribute to the overall completion of important and complex engineering tasks and projects
- Support major and minor engineering projects within a specified area of administrative and technical guidance to a group of employees
- Develop product sequence sheets (flow charts)
- Create and maintain time studies for operators and machines.
- Process with ergonomics in mind for operator stations
- Coordinate resources to achieve project objectives.
- Manage timing and weld documentation.
- Ensure coordination between design groups, regulatory functions, and internal activities.
- Prepare general specifications
- Support, coordinate, and execute all quality initiatives
- Meet all customer requirements, specifications, and requests
- Suggest and support all continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Siemens UG/NX for navigation and observation.
- Experience in light or heavy automotive body-in-white (BIW) engineering.
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong attention to detail and structured processes.
- Strong written and face-to-face communication skills in large and small teams
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Siemens Process Designer or eM-Planner
- Knowledge of GM standard deliverables (STDS, WESS, SPD, XRWD’s).
- Understanding of peripheral automotive BIW departments and their deliverables.
